Creative Reward

To keep Tyler focused on going #2 on the potty we have been doing "Poop Charts" since the first of January. These charts have been a major success in conquering the goal of potty training. And we have planned on doing in till June just to keep him focused and in the habit.

In the past he has chosen rewards such as, Chuck-E-Cheese, Train Hat, Bath Toys, a play guitar, and so on. This past chart he decided he would like to have a "Kitty Cat Costume" I looked at him puzzled, but this is his chart and thats his request so we went with it.

I couldnt find clip art this time to match the reward so I ended up copying and pasting one of his pictures and drawing a kitty cat costume on him. Each time he put a sticker on the chart I knew I was that much closer to having to figure out how to make this costume.

Well he finished his chart late Saturday night before bed. As tired as I was I had to run to the store and get the supplies to make this costume. I was to tired that night to make it so I made it for him Sunday morning. I had super glue and fuzz balls all over me during church. It was so funny. But I think it turned out pretty creative and fun.

I found this foam weather strip for your windows and used some pipe cleaners to tie it to his belt. He absolutely loved it. We went to MiMi's house for Sunday dinner and I couldnt get him to come inside the house. He kept crawling around the backyard with his tail waggling high in the air and you could hear him hissing like a cat. Too cute!

Very Creative! I am glad things are still working out on the potty. We had a fun time playing last week. You guys will have to come up here when we get some more warm weather.
