I have learned that there are 3 things I have to do everyday to survive my crazy life.
- We read our scriptures together as a family at the breakfast table. Start our day off right!
- Get out of the house everyday. If not the kids get stir crazy, bored, and more rowdy.
- Keep Tyler my 3 year old very busy with chores or structured activities.
I had just gotten the two boys finished and wiped down from lunch and managed to have a good feeding with Spencer. Just as I finished Feeding Spencer I heard Tyler in the back room screaming. "Now what... I thought" I threw Spencer in the swing and ran down the hall to check on Tyler. There was blood everywhere. Tyler had tried using his toy tractor as a step stool onto his bed and totally ate it. His lip was fat and bloody. I was getting a washcloth for Tyler when I noticed the living room was way too quite and oh I have another toddler running around that I forgot about.
At that moment I thought where is Trevor and I hope Spencer is okay. I carry Tyler to the living room drop him on the couch and to my surprise found Trevor gently rocking his baby brother Spencer to sleep. It was so cute. He was being so kind and gentle it just melted my heart. You could really feel the love they have for one another at such a young age. I felt like I had just been through a wind storm, but as I sat there at cuddled with Tyler and watched Trevor rock Spencer to sleep I thought to myself " Man I Love My Boys" Even though life seems crazy and out of control, its the most beautiful feeling to look at your children and just be filled with so much joy and happiness. I grabbed my camera to capture this sweet moment with my boys, and wanted to share it with you guys today.
There is never a dull moment in the Lawson home anymore. I just love my boys!

How adorable! Little Spencer is just so teeny.
Wow Keri that is so sweet! Trevor is such a good big brother already and he's still so little! I'm glad you're enjoying your crazy new life!
