You'll Never Believe What I Ate

RAW FISH!!!!!!! Yes if anybody knows me well they know that I am the biggest food inspector in the world. Maybe its because all my jobs have been working with food so I know the rules to keep yourself and the food safe. So for me to eat Sushi (Raw Fish) is a huge leap for me.
It was my sister's birthday over the weekend so we all went out to eat sushi and celebrate the big 22 with her. I mustered up enough courage to eat Tuna. It actually wasn't that bad. I was pretty proud of myself to say the least. I was happy to say I didn't keel over and die either so it must be safe to eat.
It was also very nice to get out and spend some time with my brother and sister and my sweet husband. Spencer is now on a bottle so I was kidless that night. And even though I missed them dearly it was so nice to get out and have some grown up fun.
My Brother is crazy all around, but more so I thought when I noticed what he had order. He said it is one of his favorites. Its Fish eggs topped off with a quail egg. Okay me as Mrs. Food Inspector thinks that a little much..don't you? I was actually gagging watching him eat it. Nothing scares my Bro he is fearless I tell ya.
So Perry had to join in the fun and adventure out of his norm and try Octopus. That to me sounds like shoving a rubber ball in your mouth and eating it. he didn't think it was that bad. One thing I loved about this night was being with my siblings and Hubby and just laughing so hard and being the best of friends together. It was an awesome night. Happy Birthday Mel.
