"So Tyler this is your new house"

Perry's Mom (Grandma Shirley) was in town over the weekend, and Really wanted to see the house. We havnt introduced the house to Tyler yet just cause we are still going through Escrow and there is a small chance it wont go through. Realtor and Lender both agree we've got it 99% but theres always that 1% so we didnt want to get Ty's hopes up just yet.
BUT.......... Grandma Shirley really wanted to see it, so we agreed to go ahead and introduce the house to Tyler. We though what the heck most likely we've got the home so why not make it fun for Tyler to take his Grandma Shirley for a visit. So I sat him down on the couch that morning and held Tyler on my lap and said.
"So Tyler Mommy and Daddy bought you a new house" His Reply "Can we bring Rusty home now" With a slight tear in my eye I said no but I did tell him he could go show Grandma Shirley the house. With a big smile he agreed.
This is the view from the covered patio out into the backyard. Our plan is to take down that small tree that is being supported by a stick. make more room for the kiddos to play.
This is looking back at the covered patio. I love how they have outdoor fans. I cant wait to get a nice outdoor patio set and enjoy our summer evenings out there.
This is the nasty fish pond that we have got to take out before we move in. Its full of mold and nasty 6 month old water. We want to put a fun sand box in its place. Any ideas on how we could drain the pond without going into the ground?
This is the view from the side entrance the the backyard. I love the shed in the back and I want to make that little divided side a garden next year.

And this is the Willow tree in the front yard that has got to go for many reasons. One its sap attracts wasps. NOT GOOD Second the roots are starting to head to the house and we don't want that so getting this tree down will be Perry's first major project. As you can see I think Tyler is gonna miss that try. He reminds me of myself. I was always climbing trees as a kid. This is a fun tree to climb too.
