A weekend to remember

There is something magical about being out in the beautiful nature with your precious family. It was a weekend where Perry and I were filled with so much joy and warmth for our family. Perry and I have always had a passion for the outdoors and its been a wonderful experience sharing that passion with our kids. We hope that as they get older they will grow to love nature and feel the energy it brings. I am so glad beyond words to not be pregnant this summer. We can now get out and enjoy some good old family time. There truly arnt enough words to describe how wonderful this weekend was. There were plenty road blocks and stumbles along the way, but none the less we made the best of our adventure and have grown to love our family chaos. There is never a dull moment for the Lawson Bunch, but with that comes an abundance of unforgettable memories.
SATURDAY: We enjoyed a nice hike down to Chimney Beach, which Tyler has renamed "Bug Beach" and we had a nice family picnic on the beach and let the kids run around in their undies and splash in the water.

Spencer trying to take the lead, but got to confident and found himsef with a mouth full of dirt.

Looking at this photo makes me realize how close my kids really are in age and no matter how hard these past years have been this right here makes it all worth it. I love how close they are.

My whole intention of them wearing matching shirts was to hopefully capture a sweet, candid picture of the boys all together. I think this one is my winner. We are doing an outdoor nature them in our living room and this will be the center piece.

MONDAY: One wild, crazy, beautiful day. Bike ride in Incline Village, than some playtime at a beach just towards the Y.

I love how Perrys eyes glow with love and excitement as he rides along side of his boys.

I accidentally tossed Perry's car keys to him on a bridge, and you can only guess what happened next! Those keys feel right into the water! I was terrified that Perry would hate me the rest of the day, but no...he looked at me with the unconditionally acceptance of my stupidity and laughed. With complete calmness he looked at me and said. Dont worry. we can do this. We can get through this and still have a great family day. We then spent the first 3 hours of our day searching the river and making the best of the moment. I love my husband. We both have realized these past years that yelling and getting upset doesnt change the problem it only makes it worse. Tyler quickly mentioned a family prayer to keep the spirit in our hearts. Thanks little man.

Playing in Daddy's trailer while we waited for the Tow Truck.

All because two people feel in love. What once used to be the pair of us have blossomed into a precious little family.

I love having boys. No need to pack the swim suit just strip them down to their undies and they're good to go.

So fun! I love Tahoe. And the picture of your boys is fabulous.

So, were you able to find the keys?
