I just LOVE this AGE

We have finally saved up enough money to buy a new set of dishes. Time to switch out the old chipped glass plates for something a little more kid friendly. Why you may ask?
Well Tyler has been begging to help wash the dishes lately. He helped me pick out a nice plastic dinnerware set. Throughout dinnertime he kept reminding me that it was his turn to wash the dishes tonight. I just love the age 4. Ive noticed lately that Tyler really wants to have more responsibility and wants to be challenged and work hard. Good traits indeed. So with Mommy Manger by his side he learned how to collect the dishes from the table, rinse and wash, and place in the dishwasher.
We Laughed and talked about our day the whole time. I know it would be easy to just leave him be... while I kicked my feet up, but I love finding new ways to interact and be personal with my kids. This is gonna be a great after dinner activity I can just tell. It was hard getting Tyler past his terrible 2's and 3's but here we are at the age of 4 and he is just as charming as can be. Thanks for your help Tyler.



After washing dishes he ran outside and helped unload Daddy's Lawn Equipment out of his trailer. Daddy got to actually take a brake.

Did I tell you...that I LOVE THIS AGE!
