Welcome to the Family MAX

I always wanted to have another Dog in our family I just never knew the time would be NOW. What a sweet, joyful focus MAX has been to my family and I through such challenging times. We spent the past Saturday morning playing in his backyard getting to know each other. Let me just say the kids and MAX really hit it off. It just felt right. For that small moment in time I had forgotten all about my health issues and the trials we have been going through. It was a moment full of "Sunshine" and warmth. Its as if this dog MAX has been waiting patiently for us to come bring him home. His owner told us that usually after visitors leave the house he will proceed to make his rounds throughout the neighborhood and go on little dogie adventures. That was not the case with MAX... this past Saturday. His owner said he would not leave the front window. He stared outside all afternoon waiting for us to come back. And you wanna know the funny part my is all weekend my heart felt pulled to his direction too. Its not coincidence that we meet at this time in our lives. It's meant to be. And we cant wait for me to physically heal completely so we can bring him home and start this new wonderful chapter in our lives.
MAX Labrador/Collie mix. Very social, smart, energetic, structured, busy, playful, loving, gentle, beautiful, loves water, loves the outdoors, loves people, perfect health. Perfect for us.
Tyler and Max played fetch for close to an hour. they couldnt get enough of each other. Instant Best friends.
Trevor has never been around a dog like Tyler has been in the past so this was a little new for him. He was a little hesitant at first, but in time and with MAX being gentle and loving Trevor eventually braved it and embraced him with a big old hug.
Spencer has been in love with dogs since he turned 1. So for him to be able to actually play freely with one was just the highlight of his little life. He was fearless and enjoyed every moment with MAX playing ball together.
I just love how calm and lovable MAX is with all three of the kids. it was true confirmation that this is the right dog for us at the right time.
