SURPRISE...............

This was a special day for my oldest son Tyler. he had been talking about seeing the baby from the very beginning. I made a promise to him that he could go with us to find out the gender. Unfortunately most of our ultrasounds were done with the specialist and they don't allow kids in their office. I battled this in my head for weeks on end. I wasnt gonna brake this promise to him, it just wasnt an option. I called my OB weeks ago asking for a a special Ultra Sound. They said that they cant schedule an ultra sound without reasoning, that insurance wouldnt cover it. Well I called back last week after my visit with the specialist and simply asked the finance lady at my Regular OB what an Ultra Sound would cost out of pocket. I told them my situation and that I am willing to save up my money for an Ultra Sound just for my oldest son that i made a promise to.
I received a call back that afternoon with the greatest news ever. The finance lady said she had a good long talk with the Ultra Sound tech and told her my situation. Cheryl the Tech told me to just come in 1/2 hour earlier to my 20 week appt. and she would make me her first person that morning. She told me to bring Tyler and be prepared to be pampered and spend a good 1/2 hour watching our little one on the screen. Tyler would then be able to find out the gender of the baby and be a part of that special occasion. *FREE OF CHARGE* This was to be a glorious and exciting event.
It was all of that and more. He had so much fun seeing his little "brother" wiggle and kick around. It made my heart swell to see the sparkle in his eyes each time the baby would kick or move. It was all I had envisioned and more for him. The tech showed Tyler the gender and Tyler was able to meet his Littlest Brother for the first time from within my belly. He was a little shocked it was a BOY.... for he had total confidence this whole time it was a girl. But without hesitation he quickly changed his pattern of thought and talk the whole morning about how excited he was to have another brother to wrestle and play super heroes with.
This day truly was an answer to my prayers. This is our last child and just because the circumstances we've been facing and the situation we've been under I just wanted one thing to run smooth and as planned. This being my top choice and am so grateful my prayers were heard and Tyler was able to see his baby Brother for the first time as he had planned from the very beginning.

WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY LITTLEST MAN!!!!
