We woke up this morning had a yummy breakfast with homemade sour cream pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. Daddy gave Trevor a wonderful comfort blessing for his first day of school. We then hurried up and got everyone dressed for their day including our new little pre-schooler and was out the door by 8:30am. Trevor was so excited to wear his Fishy shirt he picked our weeks ago. he LOVES that shirt. Phew no time to sit back an relax this morning, definitely a change of pace for us in the mornings.
We then met MiMi at the school where she held him and cried happy tears as she sent off her second Grandson to school. Time sure does fly by. Tyler was so excited to introduce and guide his brother into the school yards that he once attended the past couple of years. It was such honor in Trevor's eyes to have his older brother show him the way.

Trevor couldnt wait to meet Mrs. Leslie. Tyler talked about how cool and fun she was all summer long. They finally got to meet in person and Trevor was beyond excited.

Tyler couldnt help but give hugs to all his old school teachers and share his excitement and love for Kindergarten. This is Mrs. Brenda, a teacher I will be forever grateful for as she helped Tyler stretch and grow in ways I thought couldnt happen. Shes a wonderful lady.
We then came home and tried to have a normal morning, but Tyler really missed his brother he actually shed some tears on the ride home from taking him to school. Tyler didnt know what he would do without Trevor at home. I encouraged Tyler to make more of an effort to play an enjoy Spencer company even though he's a little guy. Tyler and Spencer rode bikes outside. I think I teared up a bit when I noticed Trevors bike was empty and his cute little hyper voice wasnt being heard by any of us. It sure was quite. I realized how grown up he had become. Hes stepping up in this world, and boy was it a hard morning for all of us that are used to him always being around. I spent my extra minutes packing up a picnic lunch for the kids and I to eat before sending Tyler off to school. With Trevor getting out of school at 11:30 and Tyler's school starting at 12:00 I dont have time to race home for lunch so a picnic will become a regular for us on these types of days.

Boy.... were these two boys glad to be together again. They sure missed eachother and Trevor had lots of neat things to share with us on the way over to Tyler's school. Today he painted, read stories, made new friends, went potty all by himself, and played outside. As I picked him up and gave him a big hug he was so excited to tell me that he was a good boy, a good listener, and made lots of new friends. he wanted me to know that he was nice to everyone. That'a Boy.
it wasnt until we got to Tylers school for our picnic that I realized how fast my time with these boys is going to go. I found myself in a new pace much different and faster then just getting Tyler to school. I now had two kids to prepare for school on top of tending to my sweet little peanut that is potty training and anxiously awaiting the arrival of our littest man. But we are adjusting well and are formulating a good routine that will soon be our norm around her. We really enjoyed our picnic and said our normal goodbyes to Tyler as he departed to school himself. We were very grateful to have daddy take time out of his day to also join us for our weekly school picnic. Its was a nice family moment that is creating a lifetime memory for our boys. Thanks Perry for joining us.
