Daddy Goes to School

Perry has had this whole half of the week off, which has been really nice. He was so excited to help out in each of the boys school classes. We heard several years ago that a child's love and passion for school can be enhanced with both parents helping out in class, especially the Father. They say it's truly something special when a Father can find the time to get involved with their child's education. Since hearing this theory we have made a goal to follow in its promise. Mothers are always around and kids seem to take that for granite, but I know from the smiles on the boys faces and the stories they told of their Daddy at school with them was pure confirmation that the theory is true. Im am grateful Perry takes time to get involved in not only their education but their side activities. I am grateful that we both agree on keeping a job that supports consistent family time and the ability to be flexible and available to the boys education and side activities. Its a true blessing that money cant buy. With us raising a house full of boys, I know for a fact its these moments that really shape our kids future. They need their Father active in their lives. They are lucky to have such a wonderful committed father. I dont know how I got so luck to have married such a wonderful man. I couldn't have asked for a better father for our boys.
