Tyler's 2 Bottom Middle Teeth that is.
He has been waiting for this moment for over a year. Out of all his Kindergarten friends hes one of the last to loose a tooth. With him being older and already 6 I felt bad he had to wait so long. Dentist told me its a good thing. The longer the teeth wait to fall out the healthier they are and the longer the adult teeth stay with him. He may of lost the race with his 5 year old classmates, but he'll win in the end when hes 80 and still has all his teeth. LOL
They have been get looser and looser each month and now when I brush his teeth in the morning I can tell they are "hanging on by a thread" I give those two stubborn teeth another month or less before their out. I promised him I would make a tooth pillow for his tooth and the tooth fairy. Time is drawing near so no more wasting time. I better get on this pillow. The Sewing Machine and I dont get along, so I thought I would make a pillow out of felt, hot glue, and some decorative yarn around the edges. So far its turning out great and Tyler can't wait to slip his two teeth in his little tooth pocket on the front of his pillow.
Okay any suggestions on how I can sew this yarn around the edges. I got a thicker needle thinking it would help me get threw the felt but I was wrong. Im finding my self pulling the needle and yarn through with pliers and its a big pain. I am so inadequate when it comes to any type of sewing. How would you thread this yarn through? I may just ditch the whole idea.
