Welcome Home Baby Ryan

I had to take note of my dear sweet husband. Wednesday night was our last night in the hospital. He wanted to do something fun for baby Ryan and I. He went out and ran some errands for work and returned back with his popcorn machine and some yummy fixings to go on top. We had ourselves a little party in our room that night and introduced our love for popcorn to baby Ryan. We made the most yummy popcorn ever and sat together and watched movies and googled over little Ryan. I love how we have gotten into a routine of date night no matter where we are. This was one of the best date nights ever. I love you Perry. Thanks for always making me feel special, even if its through a simple bowl of homemade popcorn. yummy!

The next morning we woke up and Perry had to run to work to take care of some business while Ryan and I sat and soaked our last day in the hospital together. I only did one thing that whole day, that was hold baby Ryan and snuggle the time away. I loved how Ryan would nestle his tiny little head in my neck and snooze away. I love how he would wrap his little arms around my neck and utter his 2 different animal noises. He is very talented...he talks like an Elephant and cries like a horse. LOL Im afraid I have caught the "Last Child Synrome" I swore I wouldnt do it but I cant help but wish for time to freeze and stand still. How sad I will be when he outgrows his little preemie clothes andmoves into 0-3 clothes, and on and on....Ive got LCS bad.

We also did a little photo shoot of his going home outfit, This pregnancy was a lot different then my others. I was for certain with Babies name being Ryan. There was just no doubt. And once I laid eyes on this plaid old style jumper suite I couldnt focus on any other going home outfit. Even though I had never meet Ryan yet, this little jumper suite screamed his name. And once I saw this outfit on him It was better then I had imagined, it was perfect. And Tyler had picked out his shoes to wear home, so he was so excited to see those shoes on his teeny tiny brothers feet.

Perry went home after work and grabbed the two older boys to come and get us. Spencer stayed home and took a much needed nap. They took my stitches out and I packed my bags. By 4pm we were on our way home to see MiMi and Spencer.
It was very emotional for me as they wheeled me out the door, knowing this was my last visit to this department. This was my last baby.<

Welcome Home Baby Ryan!!!!!

The two older boys put together some really cute welcome home cards. They were so sweet and brought tears to my eyes.

My good friend Sunadda brought us dinner that night. She has been along side of me and my family through this long journey, so she feels extra close to little baby Ryan and is so happy to see him healthy and strong.

Congrats on you beautiful little one! I'm so happy everything turned out OK! I can only imagine the sadness you feel with LCS. Just hold him all the time and savor it!
