2 Months Old

Ryan is now 2 months old. Can you believe that? I wish I could say that time has flown by, but to be honest it has been a long 8 weeks for Baby and I. With long daily visits to the doctor and unresolved issues after birth it has made for many long hard weeks. But I will say that baby Ryan is a true gem. He really knows how to roll with the punches and go with the flow of things. He is by far the greatest most joyous part of these long hard weeks. He loves to help snuggle all of Mommy's pain away, and it works like a charm. I tell you what.... we both are amazing fighters and have pulled through this month with flying colors. We both battled thrush and managed to get through Mommy's reconstructive surgery of her incision. The best news of all is that through these little bumps in the road we have both been determined to be successful with nursing. He did great with the bottle during my surgery and glady took to his MaMa once I felt coherent again. I have to leave him daily to go to the wound clinic, yet he handles my time away each day just fine and is very patient with Mimi as she tries to feed and care for him. He is by far my little angel and my joy through this period of recovery. He is well worth it all.

He is smiling a lot now and it melts my heart. I just love little baby smiles.

He loves to be the center of attention during the evening and dinner time. We've all adapted quit well to this plead of his. Perry comes home and takes over dinner while I finish nursing baby Ryan. we then all sit down together as a family to eat dinner while I bounce and snuggle Ryan in my arms. its quit the balancing act, but Im getting the hang of it. Perry and I have really come together and make a great team in the evenings. Our teamwork helps make the night run smoother.

This little cute baby loves hanging on my shoulders while awake. He fits so snug in the crevasses of my neck. Its so adorable.

Hes my little buddy and hangs out a lot in my arms. I really dont mind. I could snuggle this little man all day long with no complaints. Hes such a cuddle bug.
