Monster Jam 2011- Reunited at Last

We had a special Family reunion over the weekend. We went to Monster Jam 2011 with Perry's two cousins Jon and Mike. Jon and Mike brought their boys as well. Perry reconnected with Mike a couple years ago and this weekend was Perry's first time seeing and reconnecting with Jon in over 13 years. Because of religious difference Perry's cousins kept their distance from him. It was hard on Perry but we carried a continues prayer in our hearts that one day they all could reconnect somehow. Jon and Mike no longer have a religous prefrence which allowed for a rekindle in their friendships. So this past weekend made for a perfect reunion. Growing up these guys went to Monster Jam together and Mike and Jon havnt been since so we knew this event would be a perfect place to reunite. We spent the whole weekend together and it was great to see that unity back in Perry's side of the family. These boys need each other and its a true blessings that they have all reconnected. It was if they didnt skip a beat. They picked right up from where they left off and laughed and joked around like old brothers. After Monster Jam we went out to dinner and spent the better half of the evening filling in the gaps. Jon, Mike, and Perry decided to title themselves as Uncles and let the kids stay as cousins to help with any confusion for the kids.So lets get onto the pictures shall we.

Monster Mutt- This was one of our favorite trucks. He would pump his gas to sound as if he was barking it was really clever and it was quit the sight to see Monster Mutt fly through the air with his ears flapping and tongue sticking out. This Truck sure filled the crowd with energy including our kids too.

During Half Time they brought out this giant Dinosaur Robot that about scared the pants off of Trevor and Spencer. It was a really neat show. This Dino would eat and crush real cars while roaring and breathing fire.

Aunt Melanie had the honor of babysitting little Ryan while I was away with the guys at Monster Jams. By the look of Ryans face it seemed as though they had a good time together. Isnt this picture cute. Thanks Aunt Menalie for watching the baby.
