Joy in the Journey

I love this article. It seemed very fitting for our family as Perry travels away for work and I am left to tend to the children. We are currently living in Boise and trying to figure out what Plan B is since Plan A of finding a stable job by summer fell through. Hes been traveling for 6 months now. Perry's in the middle of NM in a small deserted railroad town living in a tent with only his crew members as neighbors. Not even a store for miles in sight just a rickety old bar for the railroad workers. He is out  assisting in building his first sub station. He is strong, he is resilient and he is firm amidst the challenges he endures. He loves this new career as a lineman and is happy for the change in scenery from his last career as a sale man. This rough blue collared job fits him well. We are proud of him for not giving up and working hard. We know that with any new changes comes a great deal of patience. It will take time to build experience and build up his resume. We as a family will live faithfully with our eyes focused on the Savior for through Him we receive the deliverance we need through every trial. In the Lords timing we will be reunited again. We miss Daddy, he misses us. Life is hard, but there is always joy to be found.
