Today on this Memorial Day weekend we took a family bike ride through Military Reserve Park in Boise where we got to enjoy the beauty of the earth and this country and visit an old military cemetery where we spoke reverently about those who have faught and died in the war for our freedom. We taught the boys the true way to " Pay your respects" to those fallen soldiers. A coin left on the soldiers tombstone shows their family that we visited and paid our respects to them. A nickel means you served in boot camp with that soldiers and a dime means you served in war with that soldier and a quarter means you were there with thar soldier when he was killed in battle. We paid our respects by placing a penny on the graves. We did see a couple nickels today on the Graves as well as penny's along with ours. A very humbling day as we reflected on those who have faught for our freedom. A beautiful day with our family outside where the spirit is felt strongly.
