Trevor Discovers

Well Trevor is now 11 months old and really into discovering the world and things around him. He is really big into cause and effect. Recently he starting climbing out of his bath seat so we have decided to just let him free play in the bath now. Its so cute to see the things he discovers in the water. He loves to play with the running water. He will dance his fingers in the stream likes its a bag of crystals.

He is also into standing u all the time. Thats in and out of the bath too. It cracks me up because when we are in the bath he thinks its the coolest thing ever to show me that he can stand with no hands. It about scares me to death, but I see his sense of accomplishment in his eyes and I cant help but be proud.

One thing Trevor thinks is the funniest thing is splashing so much that it gets his Mommy all wet. He will laugh his little heart out. I just cover myself with a towel and let him go to town. Its so cute to see all the discoveries one little guy can find in the bath.

Another cute thing Trevor does is tag along with me everywhere I go. He will crawl around the house whining for me and then once he finds me he pulls up on my legs and tags along as I walk around the house. He becoming quit the "tag along speed walker"

One last thing he loves is being like "us" especially like his big brother Tyler. We will all sit down at the table to eat and he will just cry and fuss like no other in his highchair. I end up having to hold him on my lap during dinner. The funny part is once he is on my lap he just starts giggling and eating my food. So one night for dinner I thought I would brake out the booster seat for the table. I thought there is no way hes gonna sit here and eat with us. By golly..He did. He was all smiles. He thought it was so cool to be a big person and sit at the table like the rest of us. he ate such a good dinner that night. I was amazed.


I love watching a baby in the first year discover the world and things around them. Its such a neat time for Trevor as he grows out of his baby stage and into toddlerhood.
