I went in at 8:00am Wednesday morning to be induced. I had high blood pressure and some blurred vision that past week and they didnt want my conditions to get worse so they decided to induce me at 36.5 weeks. Doc came in and broke my water around 9:30am and thats when the fun began. I was pretty comfortable till around 11:00am. I got the epidural and felt a lot better. I was able to relax and hang out with my Hubby, Sister, and Mom. They were there with me throughout the whole labor and delivery.
Around 1:00pm the epidural starting wearing off and even with them re-dosing me I still felt everything. It was pretty fierce and intense. I knew this little guy was coming soon. Doctor arrived at 1:30pm and a couple miserable pushes later (1:54pm) our little angel was born. He weighed in at a whopping 5lbs. 11oz. and 18 in. long. He is a little tiny thing. No complications...perfect healthy little guy. Lungs work good, and he ended up not being to jaundice. We came home Thursday afternoon. Things are going well. He loves to sleep, and you hardly ever hear a peep out of him. Im am so blessed thus far to have a good well rounded baby.
