Perry has dreamt of this day since we got married. He has such a strong love for the outdoors and couldn't wait for the day to share that love with his boys. Ever since Tyler was born he talked of taking him on an overnight backpack trip when he turns 3 years old. Now he is 3 so we have established an annual tradition of father son overnight backpacking trip. Daddy and Ty can't wait for Trevor and Spencer to turn 3 so they can join in the fun too. Perry said that the whole hike Tyler was holding his hand and had a big smile on his face. Precious moments for such an amazing Dad to experience. These will be memories and traditions that we hope our boys will pass on to their kids one day. Thats what life is all about if family and making sweet memories. Perry is an amazing father to his boys and I know they will grow up to love and respect their daddy cause of the time and love he gives them.
After Tyler and and Daddy set up camp they both headed down to the lake to fish. Daddy was able to take video of Tyler big catch. Way to go Tyler. You're 3 years old and already a pro fisherman.
Next to their camping spot there was this cool bridge that Tyler loved. Notice his cute little dirty face. Thats what camping is all about.
After some yummy hot dogs for dinner Daddy and Tyler enjoyed some popcorn they popped over the fire.
Here is a cute video of Tyler talking about the campground and yummy hot dogs for dinner.
Last but not least of course Daddy couldn't help but snap a shot of Tyler marking his territory. I guess this means they have to come back every year since this is now Tyler's Special Campground. Boys will be Boys. Only a crazy Dad would take of picture of his boy peeing. LOL

SO cute! I love that kind of bonding. You are right, the boys will always remember those trips and they will always love their dad for taking them.
