Home Sweet Home

Friday September 19 Escrow finally closed and we were given the keys to our first home. We all felt like a bunch of kids on Christmas morning. The kids and I are so proud of Daddy and all his hard wok he puts in to making our dreams come true. Perry and I have been through a lot with me being sick. Along this tough road brought outrageous medical debt and extra stress in our finances. We never thought the day would come where we could ever buy a home. We know this is a true blessing from above to not only have 3 beautiful children but a home to finally call our own. What an accomplishment. We have our wonderful Father in Heaven to thank for all these blessings in our lives. We celebrated with a fun evening with the kids at the house.

Tyler had the privilege of opening the door for the family.
Tyler's first words were "wow I love this house"
First thing he did was run down the hall and into his bedroom.

Trevor on the other hand just kinda stood there with this "deer in head lights" look. He really enjoyed the echos in the room as we all cheered and ran around the house. And baby Spencer wide awake in his car seat earnestly awaiting his dinner.

Our good friends "The Ashtons" dropped by a surprise doe Tyler. It was these cute rice krispie treats made into the shape of little houses and a note from their 4 year old daughter Kora. the note was so cute I had to put it in Tylers keep sake box.
We then had a little pizza dinner in our living room. Perry and I met at the Costco food court back in 1999. So what better way to celebrate then a food court pizza and some yummy salad.

We then finished the night off with some yummy sa'mores on our back porch. Trevor is now 17 months and one little ball of energy. I couldnt keep him still and away from the fire so the solution was to grab the car seat and strapped him down. It was so cute to see the joy in his eyes as he got to roast his very won marshmallow in the safety of his car seat. And sweet little Tyler loves getting messy and laughing together with the family. Its so fun sharing this moment with a 3 almost 4 year old cause they really understand whats going on a love to make memories as a family.

And last but not least don't forget to vote for Jim Wilson for district court judge. LOL Oh and we dont have a sign yet for McCain/Palin but vote for them too. This is gonna be one crazy, busy couple of weeks so Ill updated you when I can. See ya'll real soon.

I DIED laughing when I saw how you got Trevor to raost marshmellows!!! What a great idea. I wondered how you were going to pull that off without going nuts.

Tyler will remember that moment of you letting him open the door. Another pat on the back for Mom making special memories.

So...did how did your kids like the aucustics? (sorry spelling) I know Cole enjoyed seeing how loud he could be.....did your kids?
