Mommy can we please?

It wasn't until last week that Tyler has been begging me to have friends over to play. Hes now at the age where he has a strong desire to build strong connections and meaningful friendships. He has made a new friend at school by the name of Caleb. Tyler just had two requests.
#1- To have Caleb come over to his house and play
#2- To make snail sandwiches for lunch with Caleb.

Today was that day. I was nervous on how Trevor would react as his best friend/brother played with another kid. Tyler didnt have any problems with Trevor tagging along. He was so kind, loving, respectful, and polite to not only his friend Caleb but also to his little bro Trevor. I am so pleased to see Tyler growing up to be such an amazing little boy with such a big heart and compassion for others and their feelings. He makes my heart smile. I love that kid and I'm so glad he had fun today with his friend. I just love this age.

What a fun play date. It's not every day you can say you had snail sandwiches for lunch. So cute!

Way to stick with it, with the whole sleeping through the night thing. I'm a total believer of letting them cry it out and self soothe because it's totally beneficial in the end. Glad to see he's sleeping through the night well.
