Every Wednesday morning the kids wake up bright and early. Instead of playing with their toys, the throw on their shoes and coats and eagerly watch out the window for the " Garbage Man". This is big doings in our house. Daddy will wait in the back bedroom listening for any sign of the truck coming our way. As soon as he hears it he bolts down the hall faster then lightning screaming " The Garbage Man is Coming" Yes even my grown husband gets excited about this day. The kids start squilling and screaming as they all scram out of the house to watch these celebrities do their job. I tell ya there is nothing better than a nice morning greet from our famous "Garbage Man" The joys of having boys. I love their energy and enthusiasm for the dirtiest, grimiest things. And I love my husband for being the best "Big Kid" on the planet. I just love my men and I love Wednesday morning.

My kids loved the garbage men too but sad thing now that we live in an apartment they don't get to see him anymore.
We love the garbage man on Thursdays! Even the big kids at the bus stop love to see it too!
I guess it is quite common for little boys to idolize the garbage man. Too bad he come so early to your house... that forces you up early
