You'll never believe what I got to do today. SLEEP IN!!! No joke. I had to make record of this magnificent dream come true. My kids usually wake up around 5:50am thanks to the nice early summer sun. Uggggg!
This morning I woke up at 7:30am and heard my sweet boys whispering and playing in the living room, with their early morning cartoons on.
I jumped out of bed and bolted towards the living room in fear of finding my second child Trevor in wet underpants. Its a normal routine for me to quickly stumble out of bed at the onsight of Trevor awaking and rush him in to go potty. This has been a habit of mine for the past 8 months. Which makes for one grumpy Mommy. Im not an early bird.
I would just like to note that this was my first morning that I didnt have to following in this routine. As I rushed out to check on Trevor, my oldest son Tyler said " Mommy dont worry, When Trevor woke up I helped him go potty, and then put on some nice cartoons and have been playing quietly here just like Jesus would do...so you could sleep in with Daddy. I did a service for you Mommy"
How did I honestly get so lucky to have such sweet boys. They have been taught well by the Father I know that for sure. How sweet Big Brother Tyler is becoming. The boys really look up to him. I never thought I would see the day when my kids would be able to get up early and fend for themselves as I slept in. can we keep this going please. Thats all I ask. Thanks Tyler Man!
