Here we are 7 years later. There has been a lot of joy, pain, fear, growth, and love in our lives. I seriously dont know how I got so lucky to have found Perry. I sometimes dont feel worthy of such an amazing man. It hasnt mattered how poor we've been, or how sick I am, or how hectic life gets with kids he still loves me with all of his heart mind and soul. The past 2 anniversaries we've been stuck at home with newborns and we're not able to even spend a quite moment on the couch together. This year was a special year. He has been saving and planning for this day for months. It was a big surprise and all I was told was to have by bags packed and ready by 1Pm Friday afternoon. I spent all week trying to figure our his clever little surprises. Once we got in the car he told me the plan and turned on a romantic song and held my hand. I was one big ball of tears within the first 5 minutes of our trip. I love how he treats just as special as the first day we met. I felt like a princess for a day. Here's all what we did:
Oh and I still dont have a camera so his cell phone was our only option; hence the reason for such poor pics. Oh well you make do with what you have.
1st Surprise: He took me to R.E.I to buy a couple pair of summer clothes and church clothes. He spoiled me. I got 4 outfits and a cute hiking hat. I love their clothing its so me. Outdoorsy, comfy, simple, and stunning.
2nd Surprise: A Suit at Sienna Casino. Hot Tub and All. With a ginormous bouquet of Daisy and Red Roses awaiting our arrival.

3rd Surprise: A Dinner at a 5 star steak house, a planned surprise dessert, and a second proposal. Tyler flushed my original ring down the toilet at the age of 2. So I have been begging for a second chance and another ring. After coming back from the restroom I was surprise to find the ring under my napkin. He had put the new ring in the same ring box that he made me the first time. The ring was the same design, but with a little tweak. This time it had three hearts on the ring for each of the boys. It was a beautiful moment tat I will never forget.

4th Surprise: Tickets to see the Reno Aces Baseball game. This was my first baseball game ever going to. He surprised me and had them advertise over the big screen " Happy 7th Anniversary to Keri. Love Perry" I took a double take before I realized that the message was for me. I leaned over and gave Perry a big kiss and he mentioned how exhausting all these surprises have been. LOL The game was amazing. After running over time they loaded 2 men on the base and batter hit a home run and brought all 3 of them home and won the game. It was amazing. The game ended in a spectacular fire works show. We had no curfew, no kids to get home too, just us two. The night was young and we enjoyed our time away from the daily grind. A time to be just a couple. A time we rarely ever get. Thanks MiMi for watching over our little men.

5th Surprise: We slept in till 8am, ordered breakfast in bed, Threw our dirty plates on the floor LOL, Slept for another 2 more hours, and he then took me down for a full body, deep tissue body message using hot rocks. I was a little nervous to be in my birthday suit but once I relaxed and enjoyed the moment it was the amazing. After the message we sat in their relaxation room, sipped on some sparkling apple cider, ate lots of chocolate and socked our feet in a nice warm, rose peddle bath. We just talked, laughed, kissed, cuddled, and relaxed as there wasnt a care in the world. A tradition that we will carry on to anniversary to come.

After the message we packed up our bags and headed back home to our beautiful chaos. It was a special treat to leave the hotel embraced in a nice warm rain shower. Rain seems to follow us whenever anything special happens in our lives. This was definitely no exception.
In all the years we've been married we have never been able to celebrate our anniversary in a fancy manner till this year. I dont expect to be pampered to this level all the time but after the the 7 years of hardships and struggles this was a getaway we both well deserved and needed. I know it made Perry feel good to finally make enough to make our fit our means and treat his girl. A moment he has been longing for. Thanks Perry for loving me thick and thin, true and unconditionally. I wouldnt be half the person I am today if it wasnt for your support, love, and devotion. I am pleased to have you as my husband and father of my children. It was nice to step back away from the daily stresses and refresh our memories on our beautiful, strong, love. I feel as if this is a new beginning. You are a great example for our boys on how to love and treat their wives. Thanks You for loving me just the same as our first date. Thanks for being romantic and caring. Thanks for honoring your priesthood and covenants. Thanks for loving our children and teaching the how to love back. Thanks for listening to my feelings. Thanks for believing in us when my cancer pulled and tugged. Thanks for working your tail off to get us where we are today. Thanks for being you and learning from your past and becoming the man you are today. Your an inspiration to all around you and I love you more and more each day. I love you more than yesterday.
