Trunk Or Treat

Each year we get to go to 2 "Trunk or Treat" Parties . "Trunk or Treat" is a great church Halloween Party where we all gather together for some yummy soups and chillies then have fun Trick or Treating out of the trunks of our cars. Kids race around the parking lot while us parents hand out candy right from the back of of our cars. Its always so much fun. We attended not only our own ward Trunk or Treat but my Moms too. We had a blast at both.

In prep for MiMi's Ward Halloween Party we took our day off from school and decided to carve pumpkins. Her party was having a Pumpkin Carving Contest. We had so much fun getting messy and laughing together. Perry and I carved our the night before when the kids went to bed. I tell you this has been one fun week full of all kinds of activities and stuff. Im sure glad we made the effort to carve pumpkins today cause MiMi won "Scariest Pumpkin" Spencer won "Happiest Pumpkin" and I won "Best of Show" Pumpkin. Pretty exciting. I did feel bad for Tyler though he worked so hard and wanted to win so bad. So I decided to stay up late and make awards for each and every one of our pumpkins. So when they wake up and sit down for breakfast they will each get a special award from the "Lawson Pumpkin Carving Contest"







Mommy's Witch Pumpkin, Daddys Spooky Skeleton Pumpkin, Tylers Super Scary Monster Pumpkin, Trevor's Bat Pumpkin, Spencer's Mickey Mouse Pumpkin, and of course Baby Ryans Pumpkin. The kids had to include Ryans in the group shot. Why not!
