It's always been one of my passions making creative snacks. Its such a fun form of art, and the kids always look forward to what Im gonna make for their school classes. This week I got to make spooky snacks for my two older boys.
Trevors pre-school being first. His party was this past Tuesday. My little brain was stirring up some spooky ideas all weekend long. These are the snacks I came up with. They were super fun to make and Trevor loved taking them to school.
Spider Cookies: I ran out of black pipe cleaners so the spiders only had 6 legs on them rather then 8. But what 3 year old would correct this imperfection in these cute little critters. They could care less and found pure excitement in these creepy crawlies.
Hot Dog Mummys
He had to dress up as a cowboy for school cause they wanted the kids to celebrate Nevada Day and keep it clean and free of anythings gory or scary. I will say he was the cutest cowboy in his class.

The mornings I drop Trevor off at school he insists on him and I finding "Mousy". Mousy is a little mouse that gets into trouble each and every school day. It gives Trevor something to look forward to. On party day Mousy was found carving his very own pumpkin. Super cute.

Tyler Party was today Thursday. It was also Costume Day. This was the first year he was able to wear his real costume to school. He was super excited to show off his Ghostbuster outfit and Slimmer the ghost.Isnt he the cutest Ghostbuster you've ever seen?

I was in charge of bringing a healthy snack for the kids. I really wanted to make those cute spider cookies but had to find a way to make them a little bit more on the healthy side for the kids. So I tweaked my own recipe and came up with this healthy version. "Spider Crackers" Cream Cheese filled Ritz Crackers with Chowmen Noodles for the legs and cute little marshmallow eyes.
I found this cute Jack-O-lantern Fruit Cups in the family fun magazine and had to make them. Yes I was up later then expected gutting the insides of these oranges, but once again making creative snacks for my kids is on of my greatest passion as a Mother so it was worth the sacrifice of my sleep to make them.
