Davis Creek- Trevor's School Field Trip

Trevor had his first Pre-School field trip today. Heavenly Father sure answered my prayers cause attending this field trip with Trevor was a good chance for us to reconnect and spend some quality time together. I think Ive gotten so wrapped up in the daily chaos and stresses of being a Mom that Ive lost my "one-on-one" time with them that we all need and crave so deeply. These past couple of weeks have been especially hard on me. The boys sense and know that Mommys belly is getting bigger and that Im getting more tired and less tolerant. We've all been kinda butting heads lately. This field trip allowed me to really step back and focus on all the wonderful positive characteristics we share as Mother and Son.


Through our little hike I was quickly reminded of the beauty in Motherhood and the unconditional love we carry in our hearts and souls everyday for our children. It was a very brisk cold morning, yet holding Trevors hand warmed both of our souls I know this. He kept looking up at me with this big smile and you could just tell he was so happy to have his Mother all to himself for that moment in time. It was a perfect morning together. I loved watching him discover and collect scraps of the earth in his bag.



As I've been praying and pleading for more tolerance and love for my children I couldn't have asked for a better morning to receive those answers and blessings. It was just what we both needed. I hope to continue to make more of that effort with each of my children. Quality "One-on-One" time is so crucial as I've learned today.
