36 Weeks- Picture of Baby Ryan

This week I went in for my 36 week check up. Im a little bit more swollen this week and am battling one nasty head cold. Doc noticed my blood pressure was 156/97 which did cause a concern. Probably the reason behind being a little more swollen. They found traces of protein in my urine sample so it looks as though Im on my way to the beginning stages of preeclampsia. They sent me over to the hospital to draw some blood and check the severity of this issue. Luckily test came back that its a very minor case of preeclampsia leaving us more time to buy before Baby Ryan needs to come. So that was good to hear.

I am now a little over 1 cm and 80% effaced. She said she will keep a close eye on my blood pressure and dilation. Once I reach 95% and over 3 cm we will then schedule a C-Section if Ryan has not flipped. We are hopping to get more time out of this pregnancy at least another week or two, but that's all on Mother Natures terms.

They did an ultra sound on Ryan to get a close look on his exact position in the womb. Indeed he is still breech and may not flip at this point, but you never know. We were so excited to get one last close look at this little guy before hes born. Even though hes a little squished in there it was neat to see an up close look at his sweet little face.
