Adios Tooth #2

Thanks to the good old Apple Toss, Tyler lost his second tooth tonight. He came up to me at dinner complaining that it hurt to bad to eat. I wiggled the tooth and indeed the tooth was barley hanging on by a thread. We knew it was time.

Poor kid was terrified but excited all together. He just couldn't find the courage to drop the apple on his own. I went up and gave him a big hug and told him that I would help toss the apple to the floor. He was very unsure of this process. I assured him that Mommy is always here to take good care of him. I asked him to trust me and believe in me as his Mommy. Without hesitation he dropped his hands to his side and allowed me to do the honors of dropping the apple. Its was a very touching moment for me as his Mother to see Tyler trust me with all his might. It really made me realize that he is aware of my love for him and my ability to make all okay. I tossed that apple to the floor and out popped his tooth.

This tooth was extremely deep rooted. It made one serious hole in poor Tylers smile. With daddys help we got him a nice cold washcloth and I helped snuggle the initial pain away. In just minutes his cute toothless smile became ever cuter. Not 1 hole but now 2. Super Cute and Super Proud
