Husbandless

Perrys been out of town all week on a business trip. Ive been back and forth all week to the docs, so my Mom has been a saint and helped me out quit a bit during the day. As for the afternoon/evening time Ive been solo. Not only am I back making my own dinners, but Im husbandless through this adjustment. The only way to survive is to remain calm and get the kids involved in helping Mommy more. As you can see this afternoon the boys helped me make dinner and dessert. On the menu was
-Homemade Mac & Cheese
-Rainbow Chip Cake

Things ran rather smooth and we kept organized as a family. Thats the golden ticket Ive learned thus far since Ryans been born.

Daddy called during the process of making Dinner. The boys each took their turn talking to Daddy about their day. Tyler kept mentioning to Daddy how excited he was to have him come home and play Star Wars with him(that's a nightly ritual in our house with Daddy).

Luckily at this moment it seems to be a routine that Ryan feeds late afternoon and takes a long nap while I cook up dinner. I hope he continues to stay with that routine, its nice.

Tonight my Dad and Home Teacher came over and gave me a blessing of Healing. Ive got a really bad clot inside my incision that may need to be reopened and cleaned out later this week. Its made me feel pretty crummy. I needed a little extra comfort and help from above on this issue. After The blessing the boys enjoyed a nice snuggle with their new little brother in bed. Theres something about snuggling a baby that just makes you feel happy and peaceful.

A perfect way to set a quite tone at bedtime is to let the boys snuggle their new baby brother in their beds. Works like a charm.
