Superbowl Sunday.....49ers vs. Ravens

Can't you tell who we were cheering for today, the Niners...baby!!!! We had planned on having a couple families over to share the excitment with, but we all got sick with the nasty chest/head flu. It was a bummer. We were really looking forward to having company this year. It is what it is though. I stayed home from church with the sick kids, and decided to make the most of it and prepare the party anyways. Even if it was just our cute little family, we could still have a blast. And we did!

Whats a Super Bowl party without yummy food. We had veggies,chips and dip. We also had some yummy tiny franks, chicken wings and Potato skins. "Chicken, Chicken, Kaepernick'n"

I couldnt help myself, even though we were all sick I decided to still make our 49'er Cupcakes. You cant have a party without cupcakes, well in the Lawson home that is. Each of the boys helped me make the football toothpicks placed on top. We had a lot of fun creating our own spread.

Chow Time, dig in!

Half way through the game the power went out on the field. It was a little down time from the game so we went outside for some fresh air. Baby Ryan amazes me. At 2 years old he can be found cruising down the sidewalk on his little scooter without any fear. Its the cutest thing to see. The fresh air was much needed for this sick cooped up family. It was a beautiful day, bright sunshine and warm air.

It was a close Game 34-31 Ravens. We were very sad to see the Niners lose, but they did a fine job of bringing the excitment to the game. In my opinion there were some unfair calls by the refs and poor judgment on some of the plays but in the end it is what it is, and it was a good game. Victory for the Niners will come another year and it will be even better of a Victory being that they had to work extra hard with a couple let downs. The time will come. Cant wait to see them play next season. All us Niner fans are rejuvinated and refined in our spirits and enthusiasm. Theres no holding us back, us fans are on fire. Go Kaepernick!!!! Till next year, heres a sympathy kiss for you.
