LOVE DAY

This day was full of LOVE. On Sunday (the day before) Trevor was finishing up his Valentines cards I caught him in action as he gave away his first card to his favorite Reindeer. Theres nothing that speak love louder then the gentle snuggles of a young 3 year old, even if it is with his stuff animal. Its just all around precious in every way.

Valentines day was fun as well. I spent the middle part of the afternoon volunteering at Tylers school. I LOVE helping his class out in P.E. and Mondays are the days they go so that was super fun. It was even better just to spend the afternoon with Tyler. Then I was off to the wound clinic for cleaning and packing of my wound. I then got home in the late afternoon and did all I could to get the kitchen cleaned for Perry so he could come home and fix dinner while I fed the baby. Perry cooked up one awesome dinner. Rib Eye Steaks, yummy rolls, and some fancy heart shaped ravioli's. With the rush of dinner and taking care of our little newborn I tossed the idea of making a homemade dessert and went with the oh so simple store bought Valentines Cookies. (Yeah.... for me for not stressing about dessert...Im learning to not sweat the small stuff these days)

Tyler helped set the table and the boys decided to take a late evening nap for some strange reason. oh well at least it was peaceful as we all worked together to put dinner on the table.

Spencer actually fell asleep for the night while the rest of us enjoyed this yummy dinner Daddy created for us.

Then we exchanged gifts. Perry got me these nice fancy roses and came home early to help cook a nice meal. Its those acts of Service that warm my heart the most.

As we bought gifts for the boys we made sure to center it around their "Love Language" Trevors Love Language is Gifts and Quality Time. Sp we got him this snugly Teddy Bear and fun Hoop game for him to play with his family and friends.

Tylers love language is Quality Time and Acts of Service. We got him his very own tennis racket. Perry and I cant wait to take him out to play sometime. He was thrilled. We also got him a Mickey Mouse Stuff Animal.

Spencers too little just yet to really know his love language so we just got him this cute little Sock Monkey and a really fun game to play with his family. He names his monkey "Oh Oh Ah Ah" silly boy.

And baby Ryan's gift to Mommy was a full tummy and a long quit nap during dinner time. A true rarity. I couldnt help but notice how chubby and big hes getting. Isnt he a cutie Pie.

The next morning as I was getting Trevor off to school I was buckling him in his car seat and he flashed his very first Smile at me. Ahhhh already hitting those baby mile stones. Isnt he cute. He is now 7 weeks old. Man time flies.

It was a good day, a day full of love, service, and friendship all within the walls of our home.

WE MAY NOT HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER, BUT TOGETHER WE HAVE IT ALL!
